fingers twine as leaves falls
showing some teeth, it's not hard
close my eyes, touch your cheek
memories begins to fade, it begins to reek
dreams pull over in my head
your face, your smile, your smell
never been that happy in bed
but i don't have a fairytale to tell
heart pounding as it remembers
jaw clenches to hold back my tears
blinking glittery eyes to hide the fear
numb from your abandonment
my nerve system in my brain cannot feel
too far to reach, too far to reel
january kisses tells it all
a story about you and i
how we lived
how we hurt
how we died
how we resurrected
and how we try to survive
each day by day
